II. Hazards of Pigment Wastewater:

Pigment-related wastewater is one of the difficult problems in industrial wastewater treatment. The wastewater contains pollutants such as COD, SS, and petroleum substances, and cannot be directly discharged into water bodies. It also has characteristics such as high acidity, high COD, high color, and high salt content, and has problems such as significant changes in water quality and quantity over time. Combining these characteristics, the common methods for treating such wastewater currently include biochemical methods and physical-chemical methods.

 

III. Project Introduction (Wastewater Source):

A 50m³/d wastewater treatment project for water-based liquid colorants, UV-curable inks, and pigment preparation materials, with an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons.

The company mainly produces organic pigments, including 40+ varieties in the red, orange, and yellow color series, and 100 formulations. The products are widely used in inks, paints, coatings, plastics, rubber, stationery, and printing color pastes, etc. Raw water data: COD ≤ 2500mg/L, total discharge standard: the wastewater is discharged into urban sewage pipes and meets the C-level standard of water quality. Nitrogen ≤ 150mg/L, ammonia nitrogen ≤ 100mg/L, SS ≤ 200mg/L.
